 Hello Everyone,

I figured I’d better get my Christmas post out early this Christmas Eve. A bomb cyclone rolled into California overnight. With pine trees whipping around in the gusty winds, there’s a good chance we could lose power. It feels a bit like waiting for the Polar Express to arrive… though it’s not quite cold enough yet, and the rain hasn’t turned to snow.  This is a picture of my Toyland Tree design which I love to put on display every year.

Hello Everyone,

The decorating continues.  Toyland Tree came out of the quilting cupboard, and now graces the wall in our bedroom.

I love putting this quilt on display every year.  It is just plain fun to look at.  All of the little toys love getting out of their storage area so they can see the world for the next month.

I've heard several people say they aren't going to decorate this year.  Well, for me, we need a little Christmas, right this very minute! (You can thank me later for planting the ear worm.) It's how I ...

Toyland Tree from Sew'n Wild Oaks Quilting Blog

Hello Everyone,
 
I'll bet a lot of us are in full-blown decorating mode today.  I started the process last week......and so it continues.
 

I love putting out the Christmas quilts for us to enjoy throughout the season.  I put my Toyland Tree on display in our bedroom so we can have visions of sugarplums dancing in our heads.










 
The quilt in the foreground is Prairie Flower.  The two quilts compliment each other in our room.
